Animal House

So I went to college .... Here's what happened.

Loaded Up in the car at the crack of dawn without a good walk.  Many hours in the car and we get to the house with the creek ..... Yay!

I do my usual in house investigation and find a dead mouse in a trap. He found the peanut butter but it didn't end well.

Went up the slippery stairs to see what was the funny smell. No dead animals but the walls had new colors.

The One Who is Seriously Concerned About My Health seems to be serious about my ball toss training these days. We went out many times to the creek and I appear to be getting better because there were many happy sounds and "good Sylvester's" and The Bouncy One wasn't laughing at me.

The next day we loaded up in the car again and I couldn't believe that we would be leaving so soon, but we ended up at this place after not too long in the car. There were many buildings and we went into one and guess who was there??   The Overly Affectionate One!   And what a fantastic place she lived in! First of all, the were many Beautiful People who were also my admirers. Most of the beautiful were girls, but one was a boy with a hairy face. He was lying on the couch with one of the Beautiful Girls when I got there, but jumped up very fast when we walked in and shook The Serious One's hand.

Here's what I liked about the place. There were things to smell that were, oh, so delightful.....Piles of girly clothes, buckets of cans, turned over empty bottles.... The Beautiful Girls hugging other Beautiful Girls as they came in was fun to watch. And I loved loved loved the decorations...not boring but festive like there was always a party there.

We didn't get to stay too long but I could tell that I would fit into this place very well. There's even a ball tossing game that they play on a table when they are really thirsty! I'd be good at that!

Training Camp

The Bouncy One has discovered a new place to take me on good walks. Today, she brought The Serious One with her. I like this new place. It is very wide open and there is never any one else there: no other peoples and no other dogs. So we have it to ourselves and I do not have to be on a rope which I LOVE LOVE LOVE.

The Serious One
was very serious about making me do the ball catch so that he could click click click. The problem is, I am a little bit rusty on the whole ball toss thing since my problem with my leg. But I am getting a lot of play time now and my leg doesn't hurt at all. Here I am:

They Love Me, They Really Really Love Me

Found this letter in my special file about "ME" before The Boy and The Girl got me.  I remember those kids on that farm!!  That would have been a good  home, but there were A LOT of rules so it didn't work out... but they really really loved me.  (after the letter is the letter in better writing).

Here's what it says in better writing.

SYLVESTER

We fostered Sylvester for 1 week.
He is an awesome dog.  Best in the world.
But Sylvester still had some bads.
First of all, Sylvester would wander around.
Second of all, he would roll in cow poop so other animals would think he is a cow.  And finally he would chase the sheep.
But the good things of him were, First he would not beg for food.
Second he would go to bed when you went even though he already would be sleeping.  Third of all he always cuddled up with you.  Also he would never bark (only at the cow, horses, sheep, chicks).
We gave him a nickname named Teddy because he was like a big teddy bear.  Sylvester likes these things mostly:  People and bellyrubs.
He was one of the best dogs ever.
We hope you have a great new home I know you will.
WE LOVE YOU SYLVESTER.

Okay....Nobody Panic......

Okay, Nobody Panic, but here's what happened:

It appears that the Place with the Good Dog Smells is The Serious Ones’ place of business.  I noticed at this place, everyone calls him “Doctor” and treats him with great respect which is not at all what happens at the house!  So since they like him, I think I get the special treatment too.

This time when I went to the Place with the Good Dog Smells it was not as much fun as usual.  In fact, I don’t really remember much at all.  One minute I think I am going to go out back for a walk in the walking place where the smells of other dogs are oh, so divine, but instead I am poked and fell asleep.

When I woke up I was soooo groggy.  I couldn’t even stand up but my head was spinning and my eyes half closed !  It felt kinda good.  The one thing I noticed was that I had a really fresh taste in my mouth and my teeth were very slippery.  The other thing I noticed was that there was part of my fur missing from my back and some prickly things in my skin and that my special bump was gone.  It smarted a little around my bump area but otherwise I was enjoying the spinning of my head.

It wasn’t much fun that day at the Place with the Good Dog Smells and when I got home I still couldn’t walk and I just wanted to gaze upon The Bouncy One and lean on her.  She laughed at me and we had a nice cuddle.

Here are the pictures of what happened to me.

They Could Do ANYTHING to me in this situation

My clean white slippery teeth

That's where my special bump was

home sweet home and very sleepy

and the very good news: my special bump was benign!
