If You Will It, It Is No Dream

I am the Happiest Dog in the World.

The Boy and The Girl came back to me.

The Bouncy One and The Serious One got in the car and drove away and when they came back the house doors opened and The Boy and The Girl were there and they were hugging hugging hugging me and at first I was wondering where their doggie and squirrel bodies were, but then I remembered they were really people and I wasn't dreaming and I was so happy.

Happy Family

Where the heck have they been??

Dream a Little Dream of Me

Now that  My BFF the Black Cat and the Hissy Stripey Cat spend most of the day on my side of the House, it has gotten a little boring.  It use to be more fun to spy on them, but now it's just normal days.  So, what I do now is sleep a lot.  And I had the most wonderful dream today when I was sleeping. I dreamed about The Boy and The Girl.  I haven't seen them for a really really long time and they looked a little funny in my dream.  The Boy was a little white dog but had the Boy's head.  The Girl was a squirrel but had the Girl's head.   This is what they looked like in my dream:

The Boy Dog

The Squirrel  Girl

But even though they looked funny, we still had a lot of fun in my dream and it was super nice to spend some time with them in my head.  The Boy Dog could not throw a ball, but he liked to run around with me.  The Squirrel Girl was always giving me treats.

Now, I love love love The Bouncy One and The Serious One and they love love love me back.  I have them so very well trained after all this time.  If The Bouncy One ever sits down for a minute, all I have to do is walk over and put my head on her lap and cock my head and make the "oh please" eyes.  Then she usually gives a big sigh and plays with me.  The Serious One is more reliable...he just takes me out every night without my asking or using my special eyes.

But I miss The Boy and the The Girl soooo much.  Maybe someday they will come back and pet me.  That is my real dream.

Where Everybody Knows My Name

One of the best things about the really really long car rides is when we stop at this special place where they give me treats and I don't even have to sit or stay or come or stop or jump or lie or heal or anything!

Who Stole the Cookie From the Cookie Jar?

Last Night, I was hanging out in the room with my BFF - the Black Cat. He enjoys sitting in the same place all the time… on top of  the comfy spot.   I would like to also say that the Stripey Mean Cat (My Non-BFF)  now comes over to my side too, but there is more hissy noises when he comes over.

Anywho… as I was saying, I was hanging out with My BFF the Black Cat and we were noticing that The Bouncy One was upstairs but had left some food on the table where they eat (they eat on tables, but put my food on the floor).  So My BFF the Black Cat jumped on the table and started licking something.  I thought, “I want some of that!”  So I decided to take the whole thing… the tasty part and the part that the tasty part was on.  I can’t tell you how deeeeeeeeeeelicious it was.  Soft and yummy.  My BFF the Black Cat watched me eat the whole thing in two bites and I can tell he was kinda mad at me.  That was when I came up with the tricky plan.

I decided to take the non-tasty part and bring it to him on the super comfy spot.  That way, it would look like he stole it and ate it. I dropped it off next to him and went to my bed.

Bad news.  My tricky plan did not work.  The Bouncy One walked in and saw the non-tasty part right next to My BFF the Black Cat and right away picked it up and looked at me and used the unhappy voice.  She didn’t even glance at The Black Cat.  HOW DID SHE KNOW I DID IT?????

My Not-So-Good Tricky Plan

White Girls Can Talk

I recently went to the House with the Creek and these people visited.   I think this picture gives you an idea how I saw the situation.

The WALKER (left) and the TALKER (right)

I was not sure I should allow her in my picture since she neither threw the ball or took me for a walk in the rain, but he seemed to like her so I allowed it.

In Trouble, With A Capital T

oh boy, I'm in trouble again.  Ran after a deer and kept going (with my leash on !)  Took myself on a good walk, but then this man grabbed my leash and put me in his yard and a little while later The Bouncy One came and got me.  I don't know why she was sooooo mad, I was FINE !   She was all cranky and really really wet because it had been raining for the whole time I was gone.

But good news - I got myself a theme song now:

My Brother From Another Mother

I have been living in The House With Cats for a very long time.  The black friendly cat has FINALLY decided that I am not going to eat him and so he spends all his time on my side of the house now.  I like it because he is interesting to watch and I don't chase him, because if I do, he will run away.   He licks himself a lot.  And he also moves around a lot....he is like the cat version of The Bouncy One... he will only sit still for a short amount of time and take a nap.

Me and My Bro

No Longer a Scaredy Cat

But here is what I don't understand:  They let him on the super comfy spots all the time.  This is not fair.  He jumps up and lounges around  and they don't yell at him!  I repeat, this is not fair.
