Ohhh La La - It's Halloween

OMG, It's Halloween and I had SOOOOO much fun!
Here's what happened.

When I woke up in the morning, I had no idea that it was the most spectacularly fun day of the year.  It just seemed a regular day, with the people home and me doing the usual: eating, sleeping, walking in the back yard, spying on the chickens, sleeping, spying on the cats, sleeping.

But then, The Bouncy One opens up this big box and pulls out all sorts of things and starts messing with me quite a bit.  I didn't mind, because I love love love ANY kind of attention.

Well the next thing I know, I am in quite a fancy outfit and everyone is laughing so hard.  I am not uncomfortable in this outfit even though there is something on my head.

Well the next thing you know we go in the front yard, which I am never,  never, never allowed to do because of the fast cars that go by.  The Serious One has made something very warm to sit by and so I enjoy looking at the hot dancing colors in the giant food dish.  They take pictures and here are my two favorite ones:
Frenchy !

Watching the Shenanigans in the Neighborhood

There are loads of people walking around, especially the short noisy ones. They are also dressed up in fancy outfits like me.  And they appear to be begging.   They walk along the sidewalk and then they come up to the house and yell and then The Bouncy One gives them something out of a big bowl.  Although I sniff at this bowl she does not offer me any which is not nice because she is giving it to EVERYONE else who has on fancy outfits.

Anyway, this went on for HOURS and I did not stay out the whole time, but when I was out there I had MANY admirers and laughters-at-me's.  I love Halloween!

Who Do You Think You Are?

As I mentioned in the “About Me” section (About Me)  I don’t really know so much about where I came from, but the other day I was taking a deep nap which I love love love to do, and when I woke up, I realized I had been dreaming about my Mom!  I remembered Her!  ... and the more I thought about it, I remembered a whole bunch more.
So Here's What I Remember:
My Mom was super pretty and she was really really nice to me and my brother and sisters.  But truthfully, Mom was kind of the town slut.  She wandered around A LOT...which is what I like to do too.  Here is a picture of what my mom looked like:

Mom, Pretty, but Kind of a Slut
I can’t say for sure who my dad was, but Mom always had a thing for the bad boys.  There was this one guy who she was always wandering off to "visit" on the other side of the tracks after we were born.  And once in a while he would come over to where we lived and check us out.  I am pretty sure he was my dad, because I totally look like him and I totally want to be like him, 'cause he is really really cool.  Here is a picture of what my Dad looked like:

My Dad, The Ladies Man
The other thing I remember was that my Mom was super stubborn, AND I AM SUPER Stubborn too! When Mom's people use to want to take  her somewhere and she didn't want to go,  Mom use to always just stop in her tracks and refuse to budge and I DO THAT TOO !!

I remember this one time, when my favorite brother -George Foreman Klondike and I were playing outside and The Guy Who I Think Was My Dad came by.   Mom was hanging out with the Black Lab next door, and well Dad about went nuts...he's a very sensitive guy but really had a lot of energy too... he ran in circles around Mom trying to get her attention away from the Black Lab.... but it was then I realized that Dad was a MIXED BREED and Mom really had her eye on the PURE BREED dude from next door.  My Dad was devastated.  We never saw Dad again.

Anyway that's what I remembered.

Oh and another thing happened that I forgot about.  Last time I was at the Place With The Good Dog Smells with The Serious One, somebody poked me in the leg and then took some stuff out of my leg.  I don't know what that was about, but then yesterday, The Bouncy One and The Serious One were VERY EXCITED when they were reading this piece of paper:

Lost her Bounce

So something's up with The Bouncy One...she's not all that bouncy these days.  So here's what's been happening.

I am now in The House With The Creek with The UnBouncy One and The Overly Affectionate One.  They have been here many days with me and no good walks, no ball tosses, no going anywhere.  All day long they are just in the house lying around or making food that they don't even share with me or gone.

Then yesterday, I was tied up (as usual) in the back yard and The UnBouncy One came outside and started digging up plants.  So I decided that if it wasn't a walking or ball tossing day, that it must be a hole digging day.  So I dug a TREMENDOUS hole under the very pretty tree where I like to lie down after ball tosses which I never get anymore.

Not Me, But I Wanna Meet this Dog!  My Hole Looked Just Like This

When The UnBouncy One saw my hole, she became very Bouncy all of a sudden and ran toward me yelling at me and pulled me into the house.  I think that she was very jealous because my hole was so much bigger than her holes.
