Where Am I?

Things have gotten pretty strange since The Boy and The Girl returned.  For a few days, The Boy and The Girl and I hung out at The House With the Cats and they spent a lot of time with me, but didn't take me on many walks.  They didn't appear to be doing anything important - just eating and staring into the box that makes noises.

Then the weirdest thing happened: we got into the car for a really long time - which I'm used to now but still makes me woozy - and ended up at The House with the Stream.  WTF?  I am always here with The Bouncy One and The Serious One and their friends.  I didn't bother checking to see if they were around - I went straight into my favorite room and rolled around on the floor.  It feels sooooo good.

The next few days were so boring.  I remember The Boy and The Girl always used to do fun stuff with me. I would run along side them while they rode on these crazy metal things with wheels or slid on long sticks on the white stuff (humans are so weird).  At least they are normally very good ball tossers but there was no ball tossing at all the past few days.  All they do is unpack boxes and move things from one shelf to another.  I tried to hint several times what I was after by bringing over a ball and dropping it at their feet but each time all they did was toss it back into my mouth.

I miss The Bouncy One and The Serious One a lot.  I miss My BFF the Black Cat and how he would always bat my face when I sniffed him.  Oh, the times we had.  I'm happy The Boy and Girl are home but I miss the friends I made while they were away.  Sometimes I just stare out the window and remember The House with the Cats.

I even miss The Fat Cat
Luckily, things are improving around here.  The Boy took me on a super fun run today (where he was on the sticks on the white stuff) and I didn't misbehave at all.  I wanted to be super good so he'll take me again sometime.  This morning The Girl invited me up onto the bed and we cuddled for a long time.  The Serious One would have never allowed that.

I hope The Bouncy One and The Serious One come to visit soon.  And I hope they remember to bring up some nice artisan beer for The Boy and some organic coffee for The Girl.  They would love that.
